The Hatch Pledge
Most farmers cannot judge chick quality or hatch rate before paying. So we move the risk onto us, in writing.
1. Pay per live chick
A small setting fee per egg, then a price for every chick that hatches alive. Zero hatch, no hatch charge.
2. You are never in the dark
Candling photos on day 7 and day 18 sent to your WhatsApp. You see infertile eggs before you pay for them.
3. Hatch Passport
Every order gets a batch ID: set date, hatch date, breed and vaccination card. If something goes wrong, we can trace it.
4. Dead-on-arrival cover
Report dead-on-arrival chicks within 48 hours with a photo, and we replace them. Terms are in your Hatch Passport.

At very good hatch rates both models cost about the same. The pledge matters most when things go wrong. Per-egg figure is an estimate of a common fee; set yours in config.js.

Questions farmers ask us
How do I pay?
You reserve with an M-Pesa deposit (shown in your estimate). The balance is paid on collection or delivery, based on the chicks that actually hatched. Payment details are sent on WhatsApp when we confirm your slot.
What if my eggs are infertile?
That is why we candle on day 7. Infertile eggs are removed and you are only charged the small setting fee for them, never the per-chick price.
How long until my chicks hatch?
Chicken eggs take about 21 days. Eggs are set every week on the same day, so you will know your collection date when you book.
Do you deliver?
Collection is free. Delivery options and costs depend on your location and are confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay.
Are the chicks vaccinated?
Your Hatch Passport includes a vaccination schedule card. Ask us on WhatsApp about hatchery vaccinations and the schedule for your breed. Your county veterinary officer can also advise on disease control in your area.
How many eggs should I bring for custom hatching?
From 30 eggs. Bring clean, fresh eggs (ideally under 7 days old), stored cool and never washed. We will guide you on WhatsApp.
